The transportation department for our Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) in Gresham provides almost 2000 trips per month, and we rely on a committed capable team to make it happen.
We're looking for a Transportation Supervisor who can lead from the front—someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, ask questions, solve problems, and support the people who make this essential service run.
The Right Person for This Role Will Have Experience In:
Supervising a caring and diverse team of drivers in a demand-response type of transportation environment
Operating and supporting a fleet of vehicles with mixed capacity (vans and small buses)
Overseeing scheduling, routing, and managing the daily logistics of a passenger transportation operation
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
Is highly proficient with Microsoft Office and web-based systems
Has a calm, professional demeanor—especially in high-pressure moments
Thinks critically and asks why—always looking to improve systems and streamline processes
Has the ability to mentor others, build trust, and motivate a team with kindness and accountability
Required Qualifications:
5 years Driving experience.
2 years Experience in transporting people with special needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework/Training College studies.
1 year Transportation scheduling experience.
2 years Experience coordinating a work group.

About the Team
Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life. Pay Range: $ 25.23 - $ 38.61
The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
