Recruitment Fraud Notice
What is recruitment fraud?
Recruitment fraud occurs when scammers pose as employers and offer fake jobs online, often through deceptive emails or websites, to steal personal information or money from job seekers.
How to avoid recruitment fraud
Please be aware that phishing scams involving fake job postings and scammers also impersonate Providence recruiters and representatives.
How to identify a real job offer:
You submitted a job application via one of the Providence family of organizations' careers sites below:
Note: All job listings/description pages will have a direct apply link (button) into our application system (the domain of this system is oraclecloud.com)
In addition to the above, you completed a formal virtual or in-person interview process.
Providence recruiters will NEVER do the following:
- Ask you for personal financial information through email or on social media chats or messaging.
- Ask you to purchase equipment or gift cards on your own behalf.
- Send or request money as a condition of employment.
- Email you from a domain other than “@providence.org.”
If you have questions about the legitimacy of an open position with our Providence family of organizations, use the job search on the homepage of providence.jobs to view all current openings.
