Get hired as a CNA at Providence – The largest health care employer in Washington State
After completing the program and obtaining your certification, you’re eligible to apply to any open Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position(s). Our goal is 100% employment at Providence for all successful students. We offer best-in-class benefits for all positions 20 hours per week and above, as well as outstanding potential for personal and career growth, tuition reimbursement programs for approved college programs, generous paid time off and, in some cases, sign-on bonuses. The number of CNA roles is growing and it’s a great way to enter the health care field. Many CNAs move on to become Nurses and Providence can help you get there.
How it works
The program includes 150 hours (roughly 6-weeks) of classroom and clinical rotations, with participants working as student nursing assistants in the float pool until they are fully licensed. After that, you’re encouraged to apply for positions within Sacred Heart, Holy Family, St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute or Steven’s County Providence Hospitals. Once hired as a Student CNA, 100 percent of education expenses are covered, including tuition, books, CPR training, lab materials, and Washington State required written and skills competency tests.
Get paid to learn
The CNA Training Program is a paid, full-time position. Participants work 40 hours per week Monday – Friday during the 6 weeks of training, followed by a patterned rotation which includes every other weekend, both Saturday and Sunday until they are hired in a permanent position.
