Providence Mount St. Vincent is seeking friendly and compassionate Food Services Associates to join our team! Become an integral part of our care team by working out in the units to provide nutrition and comfort to our residents. We are an Assisted Living, Long-Term and Transitional Care Facility delivering every day on our Mission of serving all.

Providence Mount St. Vincent organizes its residents into neighborhoods centered around shared spaces and kitchens. Each neighborhood has 18-22 patients in each dining room, providing the unique opportunity serve people in their home, develop relationships with small groups and grow your career.

This position will start by floating between food service, hosting and cafeteria services. The Food Services Associate role requires standing for 90% of the job and the ability to read English.

We are looking for Full time, Part time, and On-Call for all shifts (Day, Evening, Night, Variable)

Key tasks of this position include:

  • Delivering meals

  • Answering calls for food orders

  • Referring to resident diet cards & working with dieticians

  • Cleaning dining areas after service & dishwashing

  • Keeping neighborhood unit kitchens cleaned, stocked, in compliance, etc.

  • Cleaning juice and coffee machines in unit kitchens

  • Making sandwiches and shakes for residents

  • Pushing light carts from central kitchen to neighborhood spaces

  • Minor lifting and carrying over short distances (bringing food from carts to tables)

Important details:

  • Pay range has been recently increased

  • Scheduling happens monthly, posted the 20 th of each month, and done by tenure

  • You’ll have the opportunity to join the union (not required)

Required Qualifications:

  • Upon hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority.

  • Six months: Experience working in a dining services environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six months: Customer service experience

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

Pay Range: $19.97 - $21.90

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
