Swedish Health Services Workflow Specialist Senior - Clinical Value Performance Imp in Seattle, Washington

Description:

Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Workflow Specialist Senior (1.0 FTE, DAY SHIFT) to work in Clinical Value Performance Imp at Swedish Shared Services in Seattle, WA.

Position is responsible for developing best practices with the goal to make it easy for providers and staff to do the right things for patients we serve. Standard work includes analysis and documentation of existing workflows, use of data to drive discovery work and development of performance tracking tools, developing job aids, designing EHR tools, and process charts to assist in implementing solutions that will improve efficiencies and drive standardization and optimization of workflow across the continuum of care. This role makes recommendations on opportunities for optimization and seeks to bridge gaps in patient/caregiver experience.

In this position you will:

  • Works with clinical and operational leaders to drive improvements.

  • Cross collaboration with I.S. and other shared services.

  • Project planning and project execution.

  • Electronic Health Record (Epic) knowledge.

  • Strong working relationships with Physician and Nurse leaders.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare, public health or related field

  • 5 years Related experience in project management, clinical support, EHR optimization, organizational development staff training or other related fields.

  • Prior leadership role in or supporting ambulatory healthcare operations.

  • Experienced in Microsoft Office programs (word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's Degree

  • Epic related work experience

  • Epic certification

  • Clinical certificate or license (e.g., medical assistant, LPN/RN, or similar)
