Swedish Health Services Supervisor Cash Posting & Credit Balances - Billing Office in Seattle, Washington

Description:

Swedish Shared Services is looking for a Supervisor Cash Posting & Credit Balances (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in Billing Office at Swedish Shared Services in Seattle, WA.

Proactively lead and supervise team to ensure cash posting and credit balances resolution and refund correspondence functions are performed daily assuring quality standards and Key Performance Indicators are met each day, week, and month. Ensure a highly sustainably engaged team is in place, with ongoing review of productivity and staffing needs, coaching and guidance, ensuring daily huddles are in place for team collaboration and achievement of work goals, ensuring 1:1's occur to support team members and provide coaching and development as needed, ensuring regular all hands meetings occur for transparent and consistent communication. Ensure talent is identified, hired, and trained and that the new hire and onboarding process is completed in a way that fosters success and caregiver experience. Ensure performance goals are set and monitored and regular communication about performance and development occurs. Ensure KPIs and targets are met for the department. Ensure issues are identified and escalated timely and that changes are deployed as planned.

In this position you will:

  • Supervise a highly skilled team of technical employees with a focus on accurate and timely cash processing, superior customer service, high employee satisfaction, optimal productivity, and maximized reimbursement.

  • Track Key Performance Indicators and ensure targets are met including data accuracy, productivity, rework, staff satisfaction, compliance measures/requirements, and other service level agreements.

  • Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive training program for all new and existing staff.

  • Investigate and develop resolutions to potential compliance issues.

  • Ensure tracking and reporting is in place and reviewed daily, weekly and monthly with particular focus on root cause identification for business problems as well as identified solutions. Regularly provide feedback to managers to diagnose problems, find areas of opportunity, and set goals for immediate improvement.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent educ/experience

  • Accounting training in an accredited school or equivalent on-the-job training in an accounting or cash applications role.

  • 4 years Related experience in healthcare, revenue cycle, finance or banking.

  • 2 years A strong technical background including experience with automated clinical information systems preferred; proficient in working with Epic.

Preferred qualification for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management or Accounting.
