Providence Health & Services Receptionist in Seattle, Washington


Providence is calling a Receptionist ( Pace Mlk, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence ElderPlace in Seattle, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

  • Greet incoming staff, clients and visitors.

  • Provides direction appropriately and confidentially, and responds courteously to all inquiries. Ensures that all visitors sign in on the visitor log and receive a visitor name badge.

  • Answer multi-line phone system, routing calls according to the triage instructions and paging staff as necessary.

  • Provide timely voice mail retrieval of information and transcribes the information into email for distribution.

  • Report requests for building maintenance to maintenance Supervisor.

  • Open and date stamps all incoming mail and sends to the Admin Department for distribution, except for Human Resources and Executive Director.

  • Coordinate the ordering of office supplies and submits order to Manager for approval

  • Receive payments from participants, writes a receipt for them and distribute the payments to the Admin Department for deposit. Receive payments for non-PACE day program, writes a receipt and delivers to PMSV financial office for processing


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Two (2) years administrative support experience including answering multi-line phone systems

  • One (1) Customer service and bookkeeping experience
