Swedish Health Services Program Manager Healthcare Analytics - Clinical Value Performance Imp in Seattle, Washington


Swedish Medical Center is looking for Program Manager Healthcare Analytics (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work for the Clinical Value Performance Imp at Swedish Bank of America Seattle, WA.

Organizes and manages analytical projects to support business development, operations, and clinical improvement projects throughout the Medical Center. Supports the products and initiatives developed by the Clinical Excellence Division Data and Analytics team. Works with customers throughout Swedish to connect them with existing data resources or guide new data projects from conception to completion. Expertise in the use of data in operational problem solving and the analysis of healthcare issues is required.

In this position you will:

  • Work with various clinical and administrative customers across Swedish to clarify their data priorities; connect them with existing data sources and tools whenever possible; and, when necessary, guide the development of new reports and dashboards through the development process in collaboration with analysts and data engineers.

  • Develops defined scopes of work and technical specifications for requested services and potential focused analytic, quality improvement, process improvement and performance improvement engagements. The SOWs include assumptions, requirements, time estimates, deliverables, and success metrics.

  • Breakdown of product roadmap into milestones and keep track of deadlines and development progress.

  • Define, create, lead and present solution demos, usability testing pilots and validation studies.

  • Develop new metrics and leverage existing metrics and reports for measuring product success, including analyzing user metrics and conducting A/B tests on product variants to drive product design.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business or Public Administration, Health Sciences, Informatics, Mathematics, Liberal Arts, or Sciences. Or equivalent educ/experience

  • 3 years Experience in a progressively responsible analytics-dependent healthcare role.

  • 3 years Experience in Business Intelligence, Analytical, and/or Quantitative Analysis software, systems, tools, and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree Business of Public Administration, Health Sciences, Informatics, Mathematics, Liberal Arts, or Sciences.

  • 2 years Experience in Clinical Quality, Patient Safety and Clinical Outcomes improvement.

  • 2 years Experience in Software Product Management and Delivery (from Concept to Launch)

  • 2 years Setting and executing software product strategy.

  • 2 years Delivering healthcare and/or digital health solutions.

  • 2 years Developing software products in an Agile environment.

  • 2 years Healthcare regulatory and accreditation environment.
