Swedish Health Services Online Instructional Designer - Clinical Education in Seattle, Washington

Description:

Swedish Medical Center is calling an Online Instructional Designer (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) in Clinical Education at Swedish Shared Services in Seattle, WA.

The Online Instructional Designer will develop and edit online E-Learning materials and content. Will be responsible for demonstrating and utilizing effective needs assessments, project management, course development and maintenance, and evaluation skills. Able to utilize myriad of multimedia technology and E-Learning authoring applications. Acts as liaison between Clinical Education and Practice and content experts in determining appropriate method of delivery to meet the educational needs.

In this position you will:

  • Design and develop E-Learning courses and materials.

  • Conduct E-Learning Needs Assessments.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of E-Learning, provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Manage E-Learning content updates.

  • Create standardized E-Learning templates.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Associate's Degree in Concentration in Computer Sciences or Instructional Design

  • Three (3) years experience in E-Learning instructional design

  • Experience designing E-Learning using the latest authoring applications, such as Articulate Storyline, Lectora, Adobe Captivate, HTML, etc.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree
