Swedish Health Services Manager Clinical Research - Regulatory in Seattle, Washington


Swedish is looking for a Manager Clinical Research - Regulatory (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work at Swedish Research in Seattle, WA.

Oversee and manage all activities associated with Regulatory Team of Swedish Medical Center including overall fiscal staffing responsibilities, development and growth of the program, allocation of resources (physical and human) to meet objectives of research goals, and compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures of funding agencies and institution.

In this position you will:

  • Responsible for institutional and departmental compliance with federal, state and local regulations as well as departmental compliance with institutional policies and procedures.

  • Overall responsibility for oversight and management of all operational aspects of department, including high-level coordination and allocation of resources to meet the goals and objectives of the department.

  • Play a significant role and/or work with peers to develop policies and procedures; full responsibility for implementation of all regulatory policies and procedures including departmental as well as institutional.

  • Manage budget(s) and overall financial responsibility for assigned operations.

  • Management of all staff in assigned operations, including hiring, firing, disciplining and all other related staffing duties.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in field of science, nursing, business management, healthcare or related field

  • Minimum of 2 years in field of healthcare, science or related field including research experience and a broad range of administrative responsibilities

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience in clinical environment
