St. Joseph Health / Covenant Health Stationary Engineer - Plant Maintenance in Santa Rosa, California

We are looking for a Stationary Engineer for the Plant Maintenance Department at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Work Schedule: Full Time - 80 Biweekly Hours

Shift: 8-hour, Days

Job Summary:

Performs a multitude of engineering tasks to include the operation, repair and maintenance of all hospital utilities and equipment in order to provide continuous and uninterrupted service to the environment of care. Performs specific tests and inspections on critical building systems as well as routine preventive maintenance and repairs of a variety of hospital related equipment which provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and employees.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists the Chief Engineer by performing assigned work requests, scheduled or unscheduled.

  • Maintains and repairs hospital systems and engineering equipment.

  • Maintains and operates hospital critical utility systems.

  • Responsible for observing all safety regulations and procedures.

  • Contributes to the productivity and efficient operation of the department.

Preferred Position Qualifications:

Experience: Hospital experience.
