Providence is calling a Speech and Language Pathologist (0.5 FTE, Day Shift) to work in the Children's Center at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.

We are seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of caregivers who provide medically prescribed therapy services using professionally accepted Speech Therapy theory and skills
In this position you will:
Demonstrate age specific patient care considerations for the population served:
Demonstrates application of knowledge, skills, and behaviors in the physical, motor/sensory, cognitive, psychosocial, patient and family education areas based on PEMC age specific care competency assessment tool.
Performs tests & measurements.
Performs and develops evaluation:
Identifies impairments, functional limitations, and disability.
Determines treatment diagnosis:
Identifies a diagnostic label which indicates the primary dysfunction toward which the Speech Therapist directs interventions.
Develops a plan of care which includes:
Duration & frequency of the interventions required.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
Washington State Speech Therapist License
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Pediatric rehabilitation professional experience as a Speech Therapist is preferred, but will consider new graduates with relevant intern experience.
